VIGO Matte Stone is one of the most durable and lasting sink materials that you can bring into your kitchen or bathroom. Its known for it’s strength and easy cleaning. For everyday cleaning of your bathroom vessel sink or farmhouse kitchen sink, it can easily be wiped down with a gentle liquid household cleaner to remove any stains.

The outside of the sink is the easiest to clean due to its matte finish, so you can use 400 grit sandpaper to remove any stains or small cracks without affect the finish or feel of the sink. Simply buff the affected area in a circular motion until the mark vanishes. While scouring your sink may seem counter-intuitive, it is the most effective way to keep the product looking flawless. Buffing your VIGO Matte Stone product will not damage the product or its finish.

The inside of the sink requires a little bit more care and attention when it comes to cleaning due to its glossy finish. For light stains, fill the bottom of the sink with hot water and a cap full of bleach.  Allow the product to set for about 15 minutes and rinse well.  You may also use a mild cleaning product to rub spots well and remove stain. 

Matte Stone bathroom sinks have a true matte finish and require no additional attention after they've been sanded and buffed. While kitchen sinks have a glossy finish, so to complete the process you'll need to use a small application of beeswax.
