Bathroom renovations are like science projects involving the idea, the inevitable trial and error, and the ultimate solution. The finished result is well worth the time it took to create. Former corporate marketing and communications professional turned interior stylist, designer, and passionate DIYer, Lara Osseiran, is no stranger to interior design projects. In addition to helping clients create their dream space, Lara took on a new personalized bathroom project with her favorite VIGO bathroom products and fixtures.

Lara aimed to transform her small bathroom into a “spa experience at home.” She changed most things in her bathroom the previous year, like the vanity and faucets. But, this time, Lara wanted to expand the project into a shower-tub combination by adding a shower on one side and revamping the tub on the other with a half wall. She is the founder of Liv & Bloom, an interior design company that focuses on design, styling, and neuroscience-infused design. Her design strategy is related to the study of neuroscience. Neuroscience in design is the study of behavioral responses to the environment. This field of study helps Lara craft curated design approaches that reflect clients’ personalities.

In addition to interior design and styling, Lara is an avid DIYer. She makes things that are special to her with unique do-it-yourself projects. Lara’s interior style is earthy organic, and utilizes natural materials. Think Scandinavian and Nordic designs. This eco-conscious design style reflects spaces that “balance creativity, connection, and a sense of relaxation,” Lara adds in her Liv & Bloom blog introduction.
